The Redmi Note 12 series certifies its first models

Although Xiaomi continues to increase the number of models in the Redmi Note 11 series globally, the last one has been the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, the race to increase its catalog continues. As we have learned, the first Redmi Note 12 have already been certified.

Thanks to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station we have learned that Xiaomi has already certified the first two models of the Redmi Note 12 series under the model numbers 22041216UC and 22041216C.

Rumors suggest that these models will focus on offering power at a contained price. For this reason, everything seems to indicate that they will arrive equipped with high-performance processors from the Taiwanese firm MediaTek, being the Dimensity 1300 and Dimensity 8000.

Details of the first certified models

The recent certification of these two models confirms the Xiaomi’s new strategy for the Redmi brand from incorporate two Redmi Note series a year. Models that might be presented at the end of summer arriving a few months later to the international market.

We will see if Xiaomi continues to present the models with MediaTek for China and the global models with Qualcomm or finally unifies the hardware for the two markets.
