The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca) is recalling various Verstegen brand products on Friday, following a RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed) notification concerning the possible presence of salmonella in different spices containing lemongrass.
Afsca asks not to consume these products and to bring them back to the point of sale where they were purchased.
Il s’agit d’épices Ground Lemongrass, Java blend for Nasi/Bami with ginger and lemongrass, Mix Satay, Mix Nasi/Bami goreng de la marque Verstegen vendus jusqu’au 7 avril. These products were sold through the Jumbo and Albert Heijn stores.
