Fans of the Serbian basketball club Crvena Zvezda unfurled a banner in support of Russia at the Euroleague basketball match once morest the Turkish team Anadolu Efes.
The banner says: “Politics is scum. Here people protect the Russians.” Crossed-out NATO and EU flags were also unfurled in the stands. The match took place in Belgrade, the Serbian team won with a score of 93:85.
On April 4, before the Euroleague match once morest the Lithuanian “Zalgiris”, the players of “Crvena Zvezda” refused to hold the Ukrainian flag with the inscription “Stop War”.
Earlier, Serbia voted to suspend Russia’s membership in the UN Human Rights Council. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that this was done under pressure from the West, and his country is the only one in Europe that has not imposed sanctions once morest Russia.
