Sheikh Ahmed Desouki performs Makki Imam Imam Hussein Mosque May God be pleased with him in Cairo, Friday sermon today, entitled: “Faith and Ethical Aspects of Fasting”, which is transmitted by Egyptian TV, and it is the first Friday sermon in the Imam Hussein Mosque following its restoration and opening last Saturday.
Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Jumaa, Minister of Awqaf, Ministry leaders, all its employees and all Al-Bayt lovers, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, for his interest in developing the Ahl al-Bayt mosques, and directing the speedy completion of maintenance and development work in the Imam Hussein Mosque, may God be pleased with him, to be ready To perform the rituals in the holy month, which has been accomplished and achieved, according to the highest international standards, and by the implementation of major companies specialized in this field, which necessitates thanking them and everyone who contributed to the completion of this work in this honorable manner.
The imams of mosques are performing the first Friday sermon in the month of Ramadan today, under the title “Faithful and Ethical Aspects of Fasting,” a topic that the Ministry of Endowments had previously identified, stressing the imams of the necessity of adhering to the subject of the sermon in text or content at the very least, while adhering to the time. The sermon is limited to 10 minutes.
In a related context, and on the first Friday of Ramadan, the Ministry of Awqaf opens today 54 mosques, of which 50 are new or replaced and renovated, and 4 mosques are maintained and restored, bringing the total that was opened from 1/7/2021 AD to date 919 mosques, of which 781 are new or Replacing and renovating 138 mosques, maintaining and renovating them.
