The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree according to which the country suspends the debiting of funds from the accounts of Belarusian companies in favor of residents of foreign states that have been marked in relation to Belarus by “unfriendly actions.”

“The document is aimed at protecting national business entities from debiting funds from their accounts at the request of residents of foreign states who commit unfriendly actions once morest Belarusian legal entities or individuals,” the message reads. site the President of the Republic.

By this decree, Mr. Lukashenko suspends the enforcement documents issued in favor of such residents. According to the decree, banks and other financial institutions must refuse “unfriendly residents” in an attempt to accept payment requests on executive documents without the payer’s acceptance.
