Frédéric Baldy “will have the task of supervising the whole of the administrative and financial heritage of the City, in particular from the angle of energy sanitation”, writes this Thursday, April 7 the City of Neuchâtel in a press release.
Holder of a degree in architecture from EPFL and a master’s degree from the Institute of Advanced Studies in Public Administration (IDHEAP), he first worked in Geneva and Lausanne before turning to public service. Frédéric Baldy worked for more than 20 years for the State of Vaud, in particular on the modernization of EMS.
He will take office on June 1 as head of the built heritage department, which “supervised in particular the renovation work of the Lower Temple and the Beauregard cemetery. The department is also involved in steering several strategic and cross-functional projects, such as the renovation of the Collège des Parcs. The realization of an energy sanitation program for the entire property heritage of the City is one of its priority objectives for the years to come”.
