Mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov announced a mass evacuation from the city. During the briefing, he recommended that women, children and the elderly leave the city due to the aggravation of the situation in Donbas.
“A big request: everyone who has the opportunity … to leave, first of all, it concerns women, children and the elderly and who is not involved in the work of critical infrastructure,” Filatov said at a briefing by the regional administration.
The head of the city also urged those who had previously evacuated to the Dnipropetrovsk region to leave for the west of Ukraine. According to him, it is safer to be there now.
