This Wednesday, a Social Day of the Surgical Sterilization Plan was carried out through the Caroní Social Foundation (FSC).
Within the framework of social programs; “Care for Women” and “Care for Citizen Health” care was provided to women at the “Las Amazonas” Popular Women’s Clinic.
The activity was attended by the first lady and president of the FSC, Marianela Marcano de Oviedo, the secretary of Municipal Social Management, Roselys Salazar, the doctor, Keilys Vizcalla, director of Municipal Health, Oritsy Rojas, deputy to the Legislative Council of Bolívar state (Cleb) and president of the Municipal Institute for Women (Immujer), accompanied by a team of doctors and specialists.
Yurubi Ytriago, Keiris Estrada, Kaniuska Timaure and Karina Velásquez, residents of the Amazonas and other sectors of the Unare parish, were some of the patients who benefited from this Surgical Sterilization Plan.
“Woman Care”
Roselys Salazar, Secretary of Social Management of the Mayor’s Office of Caroní, reported that they continue to develop the Surgical Sterilization Plan at the “Las Amazonas” Popular Clinic, to benefit women who are recruited in different activities.
For his part, Albán Dore, one of the medical specialists participating in this Plan, assured that the objective is to provide health to the families of Caroní, especially women.
Marianela Marcano de Oviedo highlighted that these two social programs are promoted by Mayor Tito Oviedo, thanks to the attention and protection policies that President Nicolás Maduro guides on a national scale, to provide a “Good Government” to the people.
He informed that these activities will be carried out every week in the Popular Surgical Clinic for Women “Las Amazonas” in the Unare parish, and that they are totally free for the service and care of the people of Caroní.
