Today, Friday, July 16, at 11:15 p.m., kabel eins is continuing the interrupted broadcast of the seventh and final season of NCIS: New Orleans as a German premiere.
The final season started on April 9th in Germany, but because of the European Football Championship, the decision was made to interrupt it. It is also possible that the second part of the season first had to be dubbed because the episodes were imported quite freshly from the USA and the free TV broadcasters like to have them translated in one go.
Because of the corona virus pandemic, the farewell season was shortened to 16 episodes, seven are still open in Germany. Continuing in The Hunter, when a corporal is gunned down by a sniper, Pride (Scott Bakula) and NCIS hunt the killer down, only to find out he might not be acting alone. Also, Rita tells Pride that she’s been offered a tempting job. This one would be in Kansas City though.
In addition to Bakula, the ensemble also includes Vanessa Ferlito, Necar Zadegan, Charles Michael Davis, Rob Kerkovich, Daryl Mitchell, Chelsea Field and CCH Pounder.
That “NCIS” franchise will continue to consist of three series in the USA, because in addition to “NCIS‘ and NCIS: Los Angeles is launching a new spin-off, NCIS: Hawai’i.
