After announcing very bad news, 343 Industries is back on the stage today to talk regarding the future of Halo Infinite: the FPS is regarding to welcome a brand new game mode.
A Season 2 full of content
Despite recent news – including news that Forge mode has been pushed back despite great expectations from the players – on May 3, Halo Infinite will welcome its Season 2. The latter, whose patch note is available in detail herewill grant players access to an all-new arena, the Catalyst map, and a new level, titled Breaker, for the Big Team Battle mode.
Better, we also learned that during Season 2, the playlists will be updated and the iconic voice of Jeff Steitzer will finally be back to announce the medals won by the players. That’s not all, this new season will also be an opportunity for Halo Infinite to welcome a brand new game mode: the famous Last Spartan Standing.
Last Spartan Standing: the new game mode in detail
It is via the Delta_Hub Twitter account, which shares many leaks on the Halo Infinite game, that this brand new game mode has been talked regarding.
If we are to believe this leak, then, the Last Spartan Standing mode will feature large-scale battles between a total of 24 players. The latter, as can be seen in the second image of the tweet available above thanks to the mention “Every Spartan for themselves!” is a Free For All mode. With the mention “Level-Up your loadout by earning”, we also learn that it will be possible to improve your equipment during the same game. And finally, as the name suggests, the objective of Last Spartant Standing is to be the last survivor.
As a reminder, Season 2 will arrive on May 3, but we do not yet know if all the above-mentioned novelties will be deployed at the same time or not by 343 Industries.
