Samsung usually faces a lot of criticism from consumers for using different processors in its smartphones. Neither the Exynos 2200 nor the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has shown much improvement in the performance of phones, and the company can make a drastic change with its upcoming smartphones.
Samsung S23 will come with huge surprises
In a new report, Samsung may use MediaTek processors in the Galaxy S22 FE and Galaxy S23 devices, and the company has so far only used Exynos and Qualcomm processors in smartphones, if the report is correct, it will be the first time that Samsung turns to a MediaTek processor in her smartphone series.
The type of MediaTek processor that will be used in the Samsung S23 phones has not yet appeared, as the Taiwanese processor manufacturer has not revealed the main processors for the year 2023.
For the Galaxy S22 FE, Samsung can use either a Dimensity 8100 or a Dimensity 9000 processor. According to the report, the Galaxy S22 FE and Galaxy S23 devices sold in Asia will use MediaTek processors, and thus will use Snapdragon processors for the rest of the world.
