Hearthstone will rotate sets and cards of the main set | Hearthstone

The developers of Hearthstone talked regarding the changes that will take effect with the start of the new season – the year of the Hydra. Along with the release of the next expansion, some sets will be removed from the Standard mode rotation, and the main card set will also be updated.

The Year of the Hydra begins on April 12 with the release of the Journey to the Sunken City expansion. At the same time, Outland Ruins, Scholomance, and Madness Fair will be removed from the standard mode. At the same time, the main set will also be updated – the developers will remove 57 cards from it and add 72 others.

Along with the announcement of future changes, Blizzard Entertainment has released patch 23.0. With it, past balance edits of some maps were canceled, and the Battlefields, Mercenaries, Duels and Arena modes were also updated.

Addition “Journey to the Sunken City”, which will be the first of the year of Hydra, will bring 135 new cards to Heathstone. In addition, new properties will appear in the game.
