The non-governmental organization Health Monitor warned on Tuesday that the number of coronavirus infections among health professionals increased significantly during March. He specifically referred to the central region of the country.

“Cases of covid-19 in health personnel increased drastically during the month of March in the central region, rising from 232 in the previous month to 1,058,” he said in a statement. Twitter.
He added that in the Central Hospital of Maracay the most affected health personnel were doctors and nurses with 13 and 19 infections, respectively.
Meanwhile, in the eastern region, a total of 192 infections were reported in 18 hospitals in February. Number that remained in March.
