Yesterday evening, Epic officially released the official version of Unreal Engine 5 and made it available for download. At the same time, “The Hacker Quest: Resurrection – Unreal Engine 5 Demo Edition”, which previously landed on the PS5 and XS platforms, has also launched the “City Example” content on the PC platform for players to experience for free.
However, it should be noted that to experience this project, the Unreal Engine 5 program needs to be installed on the computer.

“City Example” is a free downloadable example project that reveals how the city scene in The Matrix: Resurrection – Unreal Engine 5 Demo is built. It contains a city complete with buildings, vehicles and hordes of MetaHuman characters.
This project shows how we created this using the new and improved systems in Unreal Engine 5 including World Partition, Nanite, Lumen, Chaos, Rule Processor, Mass AI, Niagara, MetaHumans, MetaSounds and Timing Super Resolution an experience.
Designers and developers alike can use this playground to explore how to create engaging and expansive environments with Unreal Engine 5.
