Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the media center, said: at the Meteorological AuthorityThe country is witnessing a noticeable rise in temperatures throughout the Republic, and this rise will continue until next Thursday, when the average temperature in Greater Cairo will reach 39 degrees, as a result of being affected by southern air masses coming from the Western Desert with an extension of an air rise in the upper layers of the atmosphere. Accompanied by suspended dust during the daytime leads to reduced horizontal visibility.
A member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center added, in an intervention to Egyptian television, that there is wind activity in areas in the far west of the country that are exciting for sand and dust, noting that the average minimum temperature during the night reaches 22 degrees, so that moderately hot weather prevails during the night.
She pointed out that the humidity levels are low, which leads to not feeling the temperature rise, revealing a noticeable drop in temperatures in most regions of the Republic, starting from Friday, with an average of 6 to 8 degrees.
Ghanem warned citizens not to loosen clothes during the coming period, especially at night, commenting: “But there are no very cold waves once more, and we can wear summer clothes following the Sham El-Nessim holidays.”
