For several weeks, the list of symptoms of the Omicron variant has been growing. Health authorities in England have unveiled the official list of new symptoms.
The Omicron variant landed with new symptoms. While the alpha version of Covid-19 included regarding 5 more common symptoms, such as fever, sore throat, headache and diarrhea, with the Omicron variant the list of side effects grew longer.
After stomach pains, night sweats, digestive disorders and sleep paralysis, symptoms that have occurred in patients around the world, health authorities have updated the official list of symptoms of the Omicron variant. While until now the official symptoms have been fever, chills, cough and loss of smell and taste, the new official symptoms recorded by the NHS, the UK health safety agency :
– Fatigue
– Muscle aches
– Headache
– Sore throat
– Stuffy or runny nose
– Loss of appetite
– Diarrhea
– Feverishness
– Shortness of breath
For its part, the WHO has established the overall list of symptoms as well as 4 secondary symptoms which are not listed, but are indeed present: rash and discoloration of the fingers or toes, red or irritated eyes, loss of speech or mobility and chest pain.
