“Everything dark”: Comedy series about blackout starts at the end of April

What happens if the power suddenly goes out – and doesn’t come back for the foreseeable future? This is the question of the black humorous Austrian series “Alles sinster”, which will be shown in double episodes on ORF1 from April 25th as part of “Series Monday” and will be available from April 18th via flimmit.at.

A blackout scenario might also have been told as a dystopia, according to ORF television film director Katharina Schenk at the presentation of the series on Monday. In “Everything Dark” the focus is on humor: the six episodes are set in the fictional town of Kekenberg. ROMY nominee Hilde Dalik slips into the role of innkeeper Elisabeth, Harald Windisch plays the overwhelmed mayor and Martina Ebm not only has to look following her child, but also her husband. Other roles include Wolf Bachofner and Miriam Fussenegger. Directed by Michi Riebl (“Fastly Determined”), the screenplays are by Selina Gina Kolland.
