25 locations included in mandatory testing announcement – RTHK

The government announced that 25 locations have been included in the mandatory testing announcement, and those tested will receive nucleic acid testing for the new coronavirus on Tuesday, April 5 at the latest.

In response to multiple positive test cases, 23 specified places were included in the mandatory testing notice. In the New Territories, it includes Kin Suk House, Shek Mun Estate, Pok Hong Estate, Lee Wing House, Lee On Estate, Ma On Shan, Mei Chi House, Mei Tin Estate, Tai Wai, Shek Ching House, Chin Shek Estate, Ka Wo House, Po Ya Court, Tai Po, Tsing Yi. Hong Shun House in Cheung Hong Estate, Shing Hang House in Tin Shing Court in Tin Shui Wai, Yue Kwai House in Tin Yuet Estate, Block 2 Yong Ya Xuan in Kwai Chung, Sang Lai House in Wah Lai Estate, and Oi Tak House in You Oi Estate, Tuen Mun.

In Kowloon, it includes Cheong Tin House, Pak Tin Estate, Shek Kip Mei, Sau Mei House, Sau Mau Ping South Estate, Pak Yuen House, Chu Yuen North Estate, Wong Tai Sin, Pik Fung House, Fung Tak Estate, Diamond Hill, Wong Shek House, Ping Shek Estate, Ngau Chi Wan, Guan Tin Lok House in Tong Shun Tin Estate, Kwong Ya House in Kwong Tin Estate in Lam Tin, Po Pak House in Po Ming Court in Tseung Kwan O and King Nam House in King Lam Estate. Hong Kong Island includes Yiu Fuk House, Yiu Tung Estate, Shau Kei Wan, and Shui Hei House, Siu Sai Wan Estate, Chai Wan.

In addition, Choi Wu House in Choi Yuen Village, Shangri-La and Sang Ching House, Kai Ching Village, Kowloon City, were included in the compulsory inspection due to positive sewage samples.

Authorities said that if the person tested had tested positive on or following January 3, there was no need to force the test according to the announcement. The government will reopen the mobile sampling station tomorrow at the basketball court opposite Hong Cheung House, Cheung Hong Estate, Tsing Yi. Several testing points have set up chip distribution machines, and citizens who have collected chips can view the real-time chip queuing status on the website of the Community Testing Center.
