AGES: 7-day incidence at 1,861

According to the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), the 7-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections with the corona virus in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants, is 1,861 (as of yesterday, 2 p.m.).

The number is highest in Lower Austria (2,258.2) and in Burgenland (2,130.9). The value is lowest in Tyrol (1,319.3) and Carinthia (1,440.5).

The AGES reporting scheme shows the figures from the previous day – like the reports from the ministries. Significant difference to the ministry reports: laboratory-confirmed cases, deaths, etc. are not shown at the time of reporting, but at the date of diagnosis or death. In the presentation in ORF.at, it is also made transparent every day to which days the newly reported cases are assigned.
