As for breakfast, she explained that it can include a plate of orzo soup (3 to 4 tablespoons), and then eat 9 tablespoons of rice, along with a green salad.

She added that a quarter of a chicken, a medium-sized piece of meat, or a medium-sized bean dish can be eaten with this meal.

Between Iftar and Suhoor

And following 3 hours of breakfast, the Ministry of Health and Population indicated that a small piece of sweets such as kunafa, basbousa, or Qatayef can be eaten, or replaced with fruit, some peanuts, hummus, or sprouted beans.

As for the time period between Iftar and Suhoor, the Ministry of Health and Population recommends drinking at least 8 glasses of water, and indicates the importance of consuming natural juices or fresh or dried fruits, stressing the need to avoid drinking carbonated and sweetened ready-made drinks.

Suhoor meal

As for the suhoor meal, the Ministry of Health and Population clarifies that a piece of cheese with olive oil or a boiled egg can be eaten, in addition to a small loaf of bread with a cup of yogurt or milk, and it is recommended to eat between 3 and 4 large spoons of beans, with a green salad, and it can be eaten following that. the fruit.
