Another Devils defeat but 50th point for Hischier

New Jersey continues its negative spiral (4-3 defeat once morest the New York Islanders) but Nico Hischier has reached the 50 point mark this season.

After having experienced a nightmarish evening on Saturday night (6-7 defeat while leading 6-2), the New Jersey Devils of Nico Hischier and Jonas Siegenthaler (18’46 / +1) lost 4-3 once morest New York Islanders, Sunday. The Valais center will console himself by having reached the 50-point mark for the second time in an NHL season, thanks to his 19th goal of the season scored 1’06” from the end.

The Devils captain’s personal best is close (52 points), since there are 13 games left in the regular season. But the club, which conceded its 5th defeat in the last six matches, is eliminated from the race for the play-offs.

Kevin Fiala, he remained moulted during the victory of the Wild, the 9th in the last ten matches. Minnesota, which won 5-1 in Washington, should normally take part in the play-offs.

In other NHL rinks, the Arizona Coyotes beat the Chicago Blackhawks (3-2 ap), but Phillip Kurashev (Chicago) was not fielded and Janis Moser (Arizona) is still injured. No point for Pius Suter and defeat of the Detroit Red Wings (5-2) once morest Ottawa.
