The first title of Silk Sonic, a retro project formed around Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, won the trophy for “song of the year” at the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening, beating the pop avant-garde formed by Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo.
A regular at the Grammy Awards with eleven awards to his credit, Bruno Mars shares this new prize with the co-authors of the title “Leave the Door Open”, all in sweet vocals and swaying rhythms.

Bruno Mars toured with bandmate Anderson .Paak in 2017 before announcing last year that they had formed a band to produce an album.
Silk Sonic had made his stage debut for the 2021 edition of the Grammy Awards, playing “Leave The Door Open” as well as a tribute to the late Little Richard.
The group founded by the two stars takes up both the tones and the look of the 1970s, with cake scoop collars and sequined costumes.
