Al-Marsad newspaper: The first episode of the series “The Choice 3” revealed how Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi assumed the position of Minister of Defense in 2012, in the government of former President Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Egyptian actor, Yasser Jalal, assumed the character of “Sisi”, and appeared in a military uniform when he was summoned by the Egyptian presidential team during the era of “Morsi” to take the oath to assume the position of Minister of Defense.
“Al-Sisi” received – according to the episode – a call from the Minister of State for Military Production and a member of the Egyptian Military Council, the late Major General Mohamed Al-Assar, on his way to the presidency, to inform him of the necessity of accepting the position of Minister of Defense.
Before Sisi came to the Federal Palace to meet Morsi, the latter held a meeting with the former Minister of Defense, the late Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, to arrange for the Egyptian president to assume the post of Defense Minister.
The third part of “The Choice” presents a technical treatment of the most prominent things that Egypt has gone through in recent years since the selection of “Al-Sisi”; Minister of Defense during Morsi’s rule.
