Tommaso Ciampa faced off once morest Tony D’Angelo for NXT Stand and Deliver le 2 avril 2022, a match that was described as possibly Ciampa’s last in NXT.
It was D’Angelo who won the match with a Running Kick on Ciampa for the count of three. Following the match, Ciampa remained in the center of the ring to a standing ovation from the crowd who sang ”thank you” to him. Ciampa was regarding to leave, but Triple H, who was his manager throughout his career in NXT, arrived on the scene to give him a hug and exchange a few tears:

At this time it hasn’t been officially confirmed that this was Ciampa’s last match in NXT, but the footage appears to show that this was indeed his last time in NXT. NXT under a time basis.
For the past few weeks Ciampa has already been struggling on the main roster side with Main Event, we will have to watch if he will officially start on the RAW side now that he is no longer needed by NXT.
