Available for a limited time, you can collect Darkrai in Pokémon Sparkling Diamond and/or Pokémon Sparkling Pearl.
- You have to have access to the town of Joliberges in the game, i.e. being awarded the title of Master of the Pokémon League following winning the Pokémon League.
- You must have completed the National Pokédex
- You must already have captured Cresselia
Progressing to this stage has in the past allowed you to unlock access to the “Mystery Gift” menu.
You have until April 30, 2022 to collect the “Member Card” offered in the game to all players.
Step 1 – Collect the Membership Card
- Go to the game menus then to “Mystery Gift”
- After saving and connecting to the internet, choose “Via Internet”
- Select “Member Card”
Step 2 – Collect Darkrai
- As indicated in the description of the member’s card which is in the “Rare objects” of your “Bag”, go to the inn of Joliberges, the house located in the North-East of the city with a blue roof.
- An NPC will invite you to sleep in the bed of his inn and in your dreams you will discover New Moon Island.
- Before going any further, consider saving and disabling autosave to avoid missing out on capturing Darkrai, which will be level 50. Follow the path, enter the forest to meet Darkrai. It can appear in its chromatic form.
