Börse Express – Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex affected by cyber incident

HAMBURG (dpa-AFX) – The wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has become the target of a cyber incident. IT security determined this on March 31, the company announced on Saturday in Hamburg. The disruption was noticed early on and countermeasures were initiated immediately. According to the information, the IT systems of several business areas at various locations were switched off “purely as a precaution”.

A crisis team is working with internal and external security experts to contain the disruption, minimize the impact and assess possible consequences of the incident, it said.
