Quinté+ on Sunday at Auteuil with the Prix du Président de la République, Group III level steeplechase handicap (ref. +3 +5), over 4700 meters, for all horses aged 5 and over. 8 POLISUD : A quality 6-year-old gelding, he participated in the last winter meeting in Pau and for his return to Auteuil on March 6, he finished third in a Class 1 steeplechase over 4400 meters. On this same course, on September 16, 2020, he finished third in a Group III. It will present itself well sharpened for this President’s Prize in which it is taken in 59, a value which seems to give it all its chances.
3 GREAT UNCLE : In constant progress last year, he notably won two races on the 4400 meter steeplechase course at Auteuil. It made its comeback over hurdles on March 12 in a Listed over hurdles at Auteuil and should be ready enough to play a good role in this Group III.
2 DARLING OF THE BORDES : Fifth in this event last year, this regular and experienced 9-year-old jumper has just finished fourth in the Prix Lutteur III, in preparation for the big race this Sunday. With his faithful jockey James Reveleyit is one of the priority choices.
15 SWEET CRAZY : On March 12, for his comeback, he took fifth place in Wrestler III. Among his best performances, we can note a fourth place on October 17, 2020 in the Prix Montgoméry, Group III contested on the course that interests us. His great outfit will be a major asset for him.
13 GOOAAAL : Regular 6-year-old gelding, this resident of Gabriel Leenders recommends a second over a steeplechase in the Quinté+ of January 17 at Pau. Second in the Prix Lutteur III, he confirmed his form. He deserves credit even if he is going to run such a long distance for the first time.
18 BLACK GOOD : In steeplechase, this 9-year-old gelding finished third in the Quinté+ of January 17 at Pau, second in that of February 4, still at Pau, and third in the Prix Lutteur III. Under 62 kilos, and a first over such a long distance, he is a valid outsider.
4 KING ELVIS : Over hurdles at Auteuil, it won the Quinté+ of February 28th. Previously over steeples, during the autumn, it had finished third in the Quinté+ Prix Cacao (over 4400 metres) and first in the Quinté+ Prix André Adèle (over 3700 metres). Watch out for this 7 year old gelding from trainingArnaud Chaillé-Chaillé.
5 AVEL DE KERBARH : He won the Prix Lutteur III by 3 lengths, which cost him a heavy penalty of 4 kilos. Theoretically it will be harder, but far from impossible, at least for a small place.
