Russia threatens to end space collaboration

Moscow threatened on Saturday to end its collaboration with the International Space Station (ISS) program if the United States and other Western countries did not withdraw their sanctions on Russia.

Moscow will set a deadline for the end of the cooperation, announced the head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, via the Telegram application.

A return to normal relations between the space agencies would only be “possible in the event of the total and unconditional withdrawal of the illegal sanctions”, added Mr. Rogozin.
