The third batch of food aid provided by Turkey arrived at the port of Tripoli, and was received by the Higher Relief Commission headed by Major General Muhammad Khair, provided that the food stuff carrying the new ship will be distributed.
The Director of Tripoli Port, Ahmed Tamer, indicated that nearly 1,000 tons of aid has arrived and will be provided to the needy among the Lebanese people, thanking the Turkish government for what it offers to the Lebanese people.
In turn, the Turkish ambassador expressed his happiness for the meeting that brings together the brothers, conveying the greetings of Turkish President Erdogan to the Lebanese people and that the third batch of aid will be dedicated to the Lebanese people provided by Turkish non-governmental organizations to be distributed to the needy.
In a related context, Major General Muhammad Khair indicated that nearly 1,000 tons will be for all Lebanese associations that coordinate with Turkish associations, and distribution will be in the coming days.
