In the video, a consultant reveals 3 categories of diabetics who are prohibited from fasting during Ramadan

Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Iman Shesha, a consultant in internal medicine and endocrinology, revealed that most diabetics can fast during the month of Ramadan, explaining at the same time that there is a group that cannot fast.

Shesha added, during her interview with Channel 120 via Al-Ekhbariya channel, that those who are exempt from fasting are with type 1 in general, and type 2 who cannot control sugar or suffer from chronic diseases such as kidney or vascular failure, or have a history of low blood sugar. Or high blood sugar frequently.

She also noted at the same time that pregnant women who take insulin are also prohibited from fasting, as fasting poses a great danger to them.
