The snow line has dropped to the lowlands. And because of the low temperatures, the ground cools down more, so that the snow is increasing, as SRF Meteo tweets.
Meteonews Switzerland also reports that the snow remains at low altitudes. The weather service warns of the danger of slippery roads.
Saturday will remain gray in northern Switzerland and snow will continue to fall with temperatures around freezing. It’s friendlier in the south.
