YouTube is working on the optimized integration of podcasts

YouTube materializes its project to host and fully integrate podcasts within its platform, found the specialized American site Podnews on Wednesday March 30, which obtained an 84-page working document. The platform plans in particular to integrate the RSS feeds of podcasts, to create a new dedicated home page, to associate with third-party measurers and to insert audio advertisements via its control room and those of partners.

To remember. Podcast creators have already got into the habit of uploading their audio content to YouTube to maximize their audience, but the platform wants to go beyond and develop a new activity that it masters, to continue its diversifications. She recruited for this in the fall of 2021 Kai Chuk as director of podcasts. With over 2.2 billion claimed monthly users, its global audience and technological and business expertise make it a potentially significant player in the audio industry.
