The World Cup begins with the opening game on November 21, which hosts Qatar. The final will take place on December 18th.
Unlike usual, the game plan is not automatically set when the groups are drawn. Due to the short distances between the eight World Cup stadiums in Qatar, FIFA wants to determine the venues and match times of the games later.
One can therefore assume that a preliminary round match like Brazil once morest Germany will take place during prime time at the Lusail Iconic Stadium with 86,250 seats, rather than at an off-peak time in an arena half the size.
During the group stage, four games take place every day. In the first two rounds, fans can look forward to games at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (Swiss time). After that, 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. are the match times.
