BCG reaches $11 billion in sales for the first time

Düsseldorf The pandemic year 2021 was one of the most successful ever for the management consultancy Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The strategy consultancy increased its revenues by 25 percent and reached the sales threshold of eleven billion dollars for the first time.

A similarly strong growth rate was achieved in the Germany/Austria region, said the new BCG Germany boss Michael Brigl. BCG’s turnover here should be well over one billion euros. The company did not disclose exact figures.

The consultancy does not see an end to the boom following the first few months of the current year. However, BCG does not want to make a specific forecast. The industry as a whole is expecting sales growth of a good ten percent for 2022, including the consequences of the war, according to a recent survey by the BDU industry association.
