D1 changes the name of its corporate name | Companies | Business

The D1 string, famous for its ‘hard discount’ type discount stores in the country, announced that it will change the name of its corporate name.

The company said that, from this April 1, it will stop being called Koba Colombia S.A. and will become D1 S.A.S.

The chain explained that this decision is part of the continuity of its positioning plan in the country, following 12 years of operations.

It considered that with this unification of D1 and its new company name, which does not imply a change of NIT, it ratifies the brand identification in all the country.

Likewise, he stated that “this change brings us even closer to our brand identity and the simplicity that characterizes us. It is a strengthening of our strategic plan to reach more corners of the country”.

Currently, D1 has a presence in 450 municipalities in the national territory.
