American actor Chris Rock broke his silence for the first time following the slap he received from his colleague Will Smith, during this year’s Academy Awards.
And he said, according to the “New York Post” that he is still understanding the matter, and will talk regarding it at a later time.
In a post on his official Instagram account, Smith apologized, saying: “Chris, I would like to publicly apologize to you. What you did crossed the line and was wrong. I feel ashamed, and what I did is not indicative of the man I want to be.”
Smith described his behavior as “unacceptable and unforgivable”.
