A space telescope discovers the most distant star that can be seen from Earth

The European Space Agency announced that the Hubble Space Telescope has discovered the most distant star that can be seen from Earth, Earendel, which originated regarding 13 billion years ago.

It is noteworthy that “Hubble” is one of the largest space telescopes, which was launched into space in 1990, and was included by NASA in the list of its largest observatories. The European Space Agency was involved in its design and production.

And the European Space Agency’s statement indicates, “The Hubble space telescope has discovered a new and unusual landmark. It has discovered the light of a star that arose in the first billion years of the universe following the Big Bang. It is the farthest star that can be seen from Earth.”

This star is so far away that it takes 12.9 billion years for its light to reach Earth.

It should be noted that in 2018, the Hubble Space Telescope discovered a star that arose when the universe was four billion years old.
