The inauguration ceremony of this new air service took place in the presence of the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bordeaux, Ahmed Nouri Salimi, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of this city, the Vice-President of the Métropole de Limoges, the Mayor and the Director of the city’s airport.
In a speech for the occasion at Limoges airport, Mr. Salimi welcomed the creation of an airline between Marrakech and Limoges which is experiencing a high concentration of Moroccan nationals, particularly in the current situation marked by the contraction economy and the recurrence of mobility restrictions.
The Moroccan diplomat stressed the contribution that such an initiative might have on the promotion of exchanges between the Haute-Vienne region and Morocco, both economic and commercial, as well as cultural and human.
This inaugural ceremony ended with a welcome of the hundred travelers on board the first flight from Marrakech, which arrived at 11 a.m. at Limoges airport.
