That UAZ it is necessary to urgently completely change the entire model range, they say for a long time. But lately, these messages have become more frequent. This can be partly explained by the fact that UAZ, according to Russian media, is in a difficult financial situation. And the emergence of new cars, which are fundamentally different from the current ones, will help improve the situation. However, UAZ needs not only to modernize its model range, but also to keep prices for all products at an acceptable level.
Under such conditions, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will have to make targeted, but rather large-scale changes to the cars produced. In this regard, it is not surprising that, according to the domestic designer, the future “Loaf” can turn into a full-fledged pickup truck with a large cargo platform. The developer announced the publication of a series of renders depicting such a car.
Several sketches presented by the designer reveal the UAZ-452 “Loaf” 2022-2023 pickup truck, which, however, retained its recognizable appearance, is original even by the standards of the world market. The body of this model is made in the same style as the standard Loaf. Also, the novelty will retain the familiar front optics. But other elements of the body will be deeply reworked.
Despite the absence of any information from UAZ regarding the future of the Loaf, such an option for the development of the model cannot be ruled out. The fact is that UAZ does not need large investments to develop such a pickup truck. But at the same time, the company will have at its disposal a completely new car at a relatively low price. Moreover, the UAZ-452 “Loaf” pickup 2022-2023 should at least retain the off-road qualities that the minivan is famous for.
