Washington: Joe Biden received his second booster dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday following a speech dedicated to his anti-epidemic policy.

“It is absolutely painless,” the 79-year-old US president said following receiving the second booster dose at the White House in front of the media.

Biden received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine in December 2020, the second in January 2021, and then the first booster dose at the end of September.

It immediately implemented the decision taken by the US Drug Agency on Tuesday.

The US Medicines Agency has approved a fourth dose of the Pfizer-Bionite or Moderna vaccine once morest Covid-19 for people over 50 years of age, four months following they received the third dose of the vaccine.

“We are in a new phase of this pandemic,” the US president said. “This does not mean that COVID-19 is over. It just means that COVID-19 no longer controls our lives.”
