It is known: there is bromance between Justin Bieber and Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Bieber has also contributed to the creation of the new jersey of the Toronto team.

Last Tuesday, the pop star took advantage of his visit to the Bell Center to taunt the supporters of the Canadian and he even set the stage story on Instagram, mentioning his favorite team.

“The Leafs are fine, right? Auston Matthews is very successful here in Montreal. What position is your team in the standings for the playoffs? It’s okay, you’ll have your chance next year,” he told the Montreal crowd.

Of course, the people there were quick to boo him and sing along to “Go Habs Go!” in response to his comments.

We are able to recognize that the CH is tough this year, it’s just hard to swallow when an international star comes to taunt us in our own arena. Read the room, as the saying goes.
