Natalia Duranremembered for acting in big productions like ‘Padres e Hijos’ and ‘A Corazón Abierto’, has revealed a difficult situation that she had to live when she was little.
In a video that was uploaded to her YouTube channel, the Colombian model revealed that in her life she had two fathers, one biological and one adoptive. According to Duran, her surname is due to the fact that she was adopted by Mauricio Duránone of the men she loves most in her life, along with her son.
However, full of courage, the 38-year-old also declared that She had been abused on constant occasions and in different ways by her biological father, Fernando Segura.
“It was a father who sexually abused me until I was 3 years old,” he said in the video titled ‘Partecitas de mí’.

He also recounted the harsh details of this part of his life, a rather violent early childhood: “He abused me in every way, violentlysexually abused my mother in front of me. He abused her too.”
Although she says that the alleged abuser has already passed away, this fact left some marks in “the compass of what is right and wrong”. In addition, this fact led her, at times, to not feel comfortable with her body.

“It was a body that did not belong to me, in which I always felt very uncomfortable, I felt that something was not right with me,” she said.
Additionally, Natalia Durán reported that, following this tragic episode, was abused once more by two of his cousins; events that he has related to his adoptive father and his children.

She is an actress and model from Cali recognized for her participation in many Colombian television programs such as ‘La ley del corazón’.
Throughout 2021 and 2022 has announced that he has had to undergo different surgeriesfollowing revealing that he suffered from thyroid cancer, which is related to the Asia syndrome that he suffered following implanting breast products that were later withdrawn.

On constant occasions, she has shared with her followers small parts of her life regarding how she has faced the disease that now afflicts her.
“About ten years ago, more or less, I went from being an attractive, happy person, I felt very capable, I played sports, my existence in life was very dynamic and I started this experience of gradually losing my security. I started getting sick,” she claimed in a video on her Instagram.

Because of this, according to her, his acting career was deterioratedbecause it was difficult for him to learn the scripts: “I had to reject many jobs because I began to lose my cognitive faculties, my memory was very bad.”
Despite what happened in her life, the actress thanked her team of doctors, who have helped her “return to her body” and feel much better, physically and mentally.
