After Bahubali 2, ‘RRR’ was directed by SS Rajamouli and starred Ram Charan and Junior NTR in the lead roles. The film was well received in theaters around the world. On the very first day, it was reported that the film had grossed a record Rs 250 crore.
It is reported that RRR has now surpassed the entire collection of the Hindi version of Bahubali. The film took a week to complete. The report was released by Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst. The Hindi version is estimated to cross Rs 200 crore. ‘RRR’ was the fastest film to reach the 100 crore club mark. The film grossed Rs 107.59 crore in five days. In just three days, the film has reached over 500 million clubs worldwide. Bahubali Part One and Part Two was a huge success and Bahubali is one of the most collected films.
The film stars Bollywood superstars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn alongside junior NTR and Ram Charan. The cast also includes Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody. Rajamouli himself has written the script for the story of his father KV Vijayendra Prasad.
The film is set in the 1920s and tells the story of freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bhim. The film tells the story of a couple who have never met in real life.
