Rock Oz’Arènes unveils a rich program for its 30th edition

Headliner of the Avenchois festival, the British rock band Placebo will rock the big stage on Saturday August 12, the organizers announced during a press conference on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday August 10, the fires will open on the big stage with the Valaisans of Worry Blast, followed by the English group Status Quo. The second evening will be dedicated to rap music, with French artists Imen Es, Naps and Maître Gims.

The electro evening on Friday August 12 will welcome the Frenchman Vladimir Cauchemar as well as the Norwegian hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz. The German DJ and producer Robin Schulz will put on a spectacular show. LePhar, a Friborg artist, will also make the public dance. The silent party will take place on the Casino stage and will be organized by Electropen.

The French group Trois Cafés Gourmands will entertain the public on Saturday August 12, as will the French singer Louane. To close the evening, the mythical group Placebo will present their new album in the heart of the arenas.

On Sunday August 14, Swiss artists will be in the spotlight with the Friborg artist Gyon’s Tears & the Weeping Willows, the musical duo Camille and Julie Berthollet, the humorist Yann Lambiel and the singer Stephan Eicher

During this edition, the Casino stage will welcome, among others, Félix Rabin, Lucky Wütrich and Pat Burgener. The ticket office opens Wednesday at noon at preferential prices until April 30.

This edition will be the last in the arenas of Avenches before their long renovation.
