Paramount has released a new trailer for the upcoming movie Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the 1980s movie Top Gun. Tom Cruise once once more slips into the lead role of pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell.
In doing so, Maverick meets a young pilot named Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, son of his late friend Lt. Nick Bradshaw aka “Goose”. This presents him with a difficult dilemma.
Top Gun: Maverick is directed by Joseph Kosinski. The screenplay is by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer and Christopher McQuarrie. In addition to Tom Cruise and Miles Teller, we also see Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez, Greg Tarzan Davis, Ed Harris and Val Kilmer in front of the camera.
Top Gun: Maverick will hit theaters on May 27, 2022.
