What is the distinguishing feature of the Nuni Brand?
Nuni brought to Argentina what is called “adaptable fashion”, defined by us with a new concept such as “fashion for all people”.
Unfortunately, in our country, the world of fashion is very sectorized. The sizes, measurements of clothing and footwear are generally standard and people have to adapt to the designs. That is, instead of clothes adapting to us, we force our bodies to “fit” into fashion.
That is why the Nuni brand was born, a company that prioritizes real people over design itself. Although the elaboration of a “fashionable” design is not left aside, the first thing that is sought when elaborating a product is that it be adaptable to all people, without neglecting aesthetics.
How did they make the realization of the adaptable shoe possible?
When we started with this idea, we went to many factories, and designers to be able to make something that meets the characteristics of comfort and easy-on design, all answers being unsuccessful.
It was very difficult to find people who would commit to this project, given that since it is not a design that might be produced on a massive scale, it is not an economically profitable product. However, two people came our way who made it possible. They are the designers Sofia Oyenard and Geraldine Gerome. Although they are dedicated to the manufacture and elaboration of bridal shoes, and models for women, with their brand “Le.Hoi”, they were very enthusiastic regarding this project, putting everything of themselves to make it a reality. We are very grateful to them, who are a very important support for us.
What are the main features of the product?
Nuni Smile sneakers are characterized by being comfortable and easy to put on. The model that is currently on sale contains an upper closure that provides easy positioning of the foot without forcing it; It also has laces that allow you to adjust the width of the shoe in case you have a high instep. Inside it contains an anatomical insole made of viscoelastic material so that it does not lose its shape. However, it is removable, for those who need to adapt the footwear with their own insole. Finally, the exterior design is made of suede leather and the interior lined with leather for better foot breathability. In addition, we cannot fail to highlight the aesthetic design that the footwear has, distinguishing itself from the usual existing models.
What other products does Nuni offer?
We launched the unisex model shoes, which are already on sale. Soon we will be offering exclusive footwear for women, other footwear with a design for children and finally our clothing line. In our Instagram account @nuni.smile.ok you will find out regarding the news.
