After noting that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of the BUAP is an academic unit with solidity and stability, the Rector Lilia Cedillo Ramírez inaugurated a guard house and delivered a bus for the security and transportation of its university community.
Accompanied by the secretary General José Manuel Alonso Orozco, as well as the director of Educational Infrastructure, José Daniel Gámez Rodríguez, Dr. Cedillo commented that she has witnessed how this faculty has matured over time, as well as its progress and achievements. Among these the creation of the Veterinary Hospital for Small Species, in Ciudad Universitaria, a dream come true; in addition to consolidating other ideas and projects.
Therefore, when delivering the bus and inaugurate the security booth in this faculty located in the municipality of Tecamachalco, said: “I am pleased to be able to contribute to keeping our students safe, which also affects the well-being of their families.”
On the other hand, by announcing the opening of a Psychological Attention Center to support the emotional health of students, the Rector of the BUAP reported that this space will also serve to house dogs and cats that are in Ciudad Universitaria, with which assisted therapy can be performed.
