KOMPAS.com – Comedy Chris Rock still in shock following being slapped Will Smith on the Oscar 2022 stage.
This was revealed by one of Chris Rock’s closest sources, as quoted from ET.
However, Chris Rock did not want to talk further regarding the incident.

“Chris was at Guy’s (Oseary) party and had a great time. He didn’t want to let his incident with Will ruin his evening with his friends,” said a source close to Chris.
“Chris is still in shock over the whole incident and doesn’t want to be the center of attention at the party, so he doesn’t talk regarding it too much.”
Chris wanted to have fun on the show.

“To be honest, Chris really seems to want to have fun and not let that happen to him,” the source added.
The comedian uploaded several photos from the Oseary party. She posed for some cute photos she posted with Woody Harrelson, Robert De Niro and JR.
The comedian Chris Rock was slapped by actor Will Smith on the Oscar 2022 stage which was held at the Dolby Theater, Los Angeles, Sunday (27/3/2022) local time.

Will Smith went on stage to slap Chris Rock following the comedian made a joke regarding his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Chris Rock said that now bald Jada might fill the sequel to GI Jane. The film, played by Demi Moore with a bald head.
For information, Jada Pinkett Smith shaved her hair following battling Alopecia, hair loss caused by an autoimmune disease.
After slapping Chris Rock, Will Smith shouted at the comedian not to mention his wife’s name once more.
“Keep my wife’s name out of your mouth!” said Smith.
Will Smith won Best Actor at the 2022 Oscars.
In his speech, Smith apologized to The Academy for the incident.
He also had tears in his eyes when he made a speech for his victory for being able to illuminate people through his work.

He also uploaded an apology statement to Chris Rock on Tuesday (29/3/2022).
Will Smith admits that Chris Rock jokes regarding the health condition of his wife, Jada Pinkett, he cannot accept. For him, it was too heavy and so emotional that he slapped Rock on the stage at the 2022 Oscars.
“Jokes in my world are part of the job, but jokes regarding Jada’s health condition are too much for me and I reacted emotionally,” wrote Will Smith.
“I want to apologize publicly to you, Chris. I clearly crossed the line and I was wrong,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chris Rock has not made a statement since the incident.
