Sebastián Yatra shone on the Oscar stage with “Dos oruguitas”

Sebatián Yatra brought the song “Dos oruguitas” to the Oscar stage, a place where he never imagined he might be. The artist assured that he interpreted it “with a lot of love, with a lot of respect and with a lot of pride of being the representative of Colombia and of the Spanish language”.

Yatra, who walked the red carpet of the 94th edition of these film awards wearing a risky pink tuxedo, assured that “energetically” he feels his country behind him, although he has had his cell phone turned off for two days, because he wants to be “really here, present, connected, enjoying the moment here and now”.

The singer, who was impressed with the organization of the Oscars and how “special” people have been with him, assured that everything is “quite amazing” and that he has not yet “realized” what he is experiencing .

“I tried not to think too much regarding it, just to enjoy the performance” well to sing “Dos oruguitas”, the theme from the movie “Encanto” nominated for an Oscar for best song, and I did it “with a lot of respect, with a lot of love for everyone and with very proud to be the representative of Colombia and Spanish speaking here”.

Yatra said that at the Oscar ceremony “there is a lot of fulfillment, but they also let you be and let you flow” and everything is done “with so much love and so much passion, that’s why they achieve that kind of presentations, that’s why the magic of cinema, because the number one component is the love for these projects”.
