After two years of restrictions, the Oscar ceremony returns almost to pre-pandemic normality.
The United States Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards gala, which reaches its 94th edition, will be held once more this Sunday at the iconic Dolby Theater on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Starting as the great favourite, with 12 nominations, “The Power of the Dog”, a portrait of the masculine world of westerns directed by New Zealander Jane Campion, followed by “Dune”, with 10“Belfast” (7) y West Side Story (7).

For the first time, eight awards (documentary short, montage, makeup and hairdressing, soundtrack, production design, animated short, fiction short and sound) were awarded one hour before the broadcast to make the ceremony more agile.
